When taking-up frontdesk, we wanted to capture more online bookings, particularly as we were about to pass our entire accommodation stock online rather than just manage an allocation. Our partnership with eviivo would open up other distribution channels such as the AA, Expedia and lastminute.com. We required an efficient way of ensuring that we wouldn’t miss out on bookings when we're away. We were also looking for ways in which we could have much more control and flexibility over rates and packages.

I was always reasonably confident that in choosing eviivo frontdesk® our immediate requirements would be met and I was very pleasantly surprised at how quickly we have become comfortable with the new system.

We were immediately happier with the manner in which our online reservations were being handled. The system requires much less management than before and we are more confident now that we are unlikely to overbook. It wasn't too long before we started to notice bookings from distribution channels that we had not previously had available to us.

Service levels from the outset have been extremely high. Set-up was painless and support has been plentiful and easy to get. Recording new bookings is extremely easy. Updating prices and information is also pretty straightforward. The diary is excellent, and I absolutely love the text alerts of new bookings.

I have been extremely encouraged and impressed with not only eviivo’s willingness to take suggestions and give them serious consideration but also their commitment to keeping up with their competitors and other potential new developments. I do like their positive "can do" attitude and their flexibility to work just as closely with smaller businesses as with larger organisations.

The diary is excellent, and I absolutely love the text alerts of new bookings!

To sell more rooms and get access to online distribution channels, to be able to show online customers real-time room availability, join a strong network and get advice and suggestions on online marketing - all of the above were reasons why I became a frontdesk user. As soon as the front of house system had been installed, we began using it straight away and the bookings started coming in. We also noticed an increased number of enquiries and more traffic to our website.

We now have a higher occupancy and are more price-aware. With the Daily Rate Manager functionality in frontdesk we flex our rates to meet demand and we benefit from either more revenue per room or higher occupancy at reduced rates.

Our initial reservations about using frontdesk were mainly around double-bookings, but after all reception staff had been briefed on how important the updating process was and everyone had attended a webinar on how to use frontdesk, there have been no problems at all - definitely no overbooking and also no loss of sales due to under allocation.

I would recommend eviivo frontdesk® to anyone currently not utilising the Internet to maximise sales! At this price, the product and support is second to none, the commission should be built into your margins and don't forget to 'flex' your prices whenever you can, busy or quiet times pricing is paramount!

The webinars are fantastic, informative and very, very helpful and our account manager is an angel!

I have been using frontdesk since the beginning of April 2009 and have been very pleased with the results. My expectations when we started out were: generate more business, save time and access to some channels that do not ordinarily work with smaller businesses. Our bookings are now on the increase even with the credit crunch.

Using the system on a daily basis, I find that check-in and check-out are so much simpler than before. I can print out my customers' registration documents with all their details and all they have to do is sign, everything is in black and white and so straightforward. Deposits are placed directly in my bank account, so no time is spent on manually taking deposits. I get an SMS message to my mobile phone whenever anyone makes a reservation so I know exactly who is arriving and when. The eviivo staff are very helpful when I ring the office with any queries, as I'm still learning all the time!

The results of using frontdesk have been a higher occupancy and more overseas bookings!

All-in-all, I would definitely recommend frontdesk!

We bought a property that had not actively sold their bedrooms and we inherited a pencil diary that proved unworkable and inaccurate. eviivo had a software product that ticked all the boxes for us to drive bedroom sales

Without a shadow of doubt, our success to date can be in no small part attributed to eviivo. It must be remembered that selling a bedroom also produces revenues through the bar and restaurant areas. Local traders have also commented on the stronger footfall through their business from The Falcon.

It is all a very well thought out product and those big boys could learn a great deal from the simplicity of its use. One bit I particularly like is the fact that a new booking lands on your mobile as well as the main booking system, the benefit being that you have not got a full time reservationist sitting infront of a PC all day long. One guest was staggered by this when he booked a room and called me 5 minutes later to check directions and I knew his name, what great immediate hospitality!

Nobody likes paying commission but hey do you want empty rooms? - eviivo have spent many hours forging links that would take my little business years to create.

When we took over the Senlac Guesthouse in 2007, we knew the business very well as Vicky had already been working there for many years. Our aim was to transform the Senlac into a stylish yet affordable guesthouse which dares to be that bit different from the traditional holiday accommodation. One of our first steps was to ensure that potential guests were able to book their room online either through our own website or a bookings company.

The previous owners did not offer the facility of online reservations and we believe that 70% of our business now comes through the Internet. In 2009 we have really seen a difference in the bookings - they have been up by 30 - 40% and we have seen a rise in European visitors who are staying 1 - 4 nights whereas the previous year they were only staying 1, maybe 2 nights.

Our business is listed on so many different sites via our frontdesk that even if a potential guest does not book directly online they may just send you an email to enquire. If we were not using frontdesk, the potential guest would not have found our business.

Since using frontdesk we have really seen a difference in the bookings - they have been up by 30 - 40%! 70% of our business now comes through the Internet.

I was a little sceptical when I first went live with eviivo frontdesk® in October 2008. However, the impact it had on my business has turned me into a firm believer in the system and eviivo's proposition. frontdesk is filling my diary and at the same time freeing up my time, I do not have to be by the phone all the time as customers book online and I get alerted of every new online booking by text message which is fantastic.

I have been involved in tourism since 1981 and am not particularly computer literate. But frontdesk has been very easy to set up and is not difficult to use at all; it is a very good product. I have always found eviivo's support team very friendly and they explain things in a jargon-free language.

I have seen a significant increase of overseas visitors since using frontdesk who stay longer as well.

The results were instant from the minute the system was installed: bookings started to come in instantly to the diary. frontdesk has greatly increased sales conversion on our website and results to date have been fantastic. For example from January to May, revenue is up 41% versus the same period in 2009, with no additional cost. Google Analytics reports are showing a 30% increase of visits to our website.

The online booking system is marvellous and very comprehensive. It also saves a lot of time. At any one time, we can take a snap shot of how well the hotel is doing and also look at forward bookings throughout the year. This means we can take action and develop lead generating and conversion strategies to ensure revenue continues to build and we don't have any 'black holes'.

Customer service is excellent, first class. There are other systems out there but frontdesk is the best.

Having the facility to take online bookings on our website makes the difference to consumers who are not sure about calling and booking over the phone.

We have found frontdesk useful for filling gaps in our busier times and it has created bookings when we were away from the business on holiday ourselves. I like the fact that someone can book and you get notified by e-mail straight away.

Here at Sleepy Cedars, I am genuinely happy with Frontdesk. The package is very comprehensive and flexible, allowing me control over my prices, special offers and availability. It is not exclusive allowing me to add bookings from other sites.

A much higher proportion of visitors now book online including UK and fairly local guests and we have had bookings from America, Australia and Canada. Without eviivo Frontdesk this change in visitor booking would probably have led to decreasing occupancy here especially with very few visitors pulling in off the road.

Having training available, not just in the first week, but as an ongoing resource is excellent, the training sessions are well run - patient people using good tools.

Several B&B owners in our self help group are against online booking because there is no contact with guests before they arrive. This need not be the case. I use the guest's email address to exchange information and offer help before arrival in order to reassure me and them that this is going to be a good experience. So far this mutual setting of expectations has been successful.

I like the security of transactions and I learned to trust the system, I have had no problems in four years.

I have always found support very helpful. The support team always seem to have time and plenty of patience which is very important. The online training programs are also very effective.

We were concerned at first of losing contact via the telephone, but this was soon overcome by the all the extra benefits frontdesk provides, not to mention extra bookings.

frontdesk is never closed down. It plays a big part in our marketing and helped reduce our overall advertising costs. I would have no hesitation in recommending frontdesk to similar businesses to ours, because frontdesk works well.

We looked at frontdesk to give us access to a computerised booking system that allowed taking online bookings on our website. Through this, we find that a lot more guests are booking online rather than over the telephone, making bookings a lot easier.

We have found frontdesk essential for our reservation system and most useful for keeping track of guests. The guest database makes it a lot simpler when returning guests come to rebook.

We were worried about the commission charged by third-party distributors, but we now receive bookings that we would have never had without them.

It's a great system with useful improvements being applied regularly.

We needed a modern system to record sales and book rooms as well as produce professional looking bills for guests. We find the online diary useful as it's safe and is backed up on line and can't be lost, and the knowledge that the hotel is being marketed in all the right places, all with little effort on our part.

I was a bit worried about the system side of things at the start-but all were unfounded once it was up and running. We threw away our hard copy diary after only 2 weeks! I was going to keep it for 3 months.

It probably is the best system there is without custom making your own software package. And for most of us that isn't possible. So it enables us to compete with the big boys!

We needed an online booking facility without the hassle of setting it up and conforming with the data protection regulations. Also having access to online distribution channels without having to do each one individually.

For customers there is no need to phone to check availability due to the ability to book at any time of the day, and for overseas guests there is no need to worry about time zones. Anything thing that makes it easier for guests to access our site, check availability and pay online must be a benefit to us. It is also a benefit to have access to all bookings and customer information in one place.

One is always wary about agreeing to use a new system but we spoke to a couple of other businesses in the area and they were very happy with the results of using frontdesk.

We started to get reservations quite quickly, not in great number but this may be due to number of rooms available. We now receive worldwide visitors and can reach a larger customer base.

What we find most useful are the online booking facility and information updates in the frontdesk system - these are good at drawing attention to new services and applications. Customers also appreciate being able to receive a VAT inclusive receipt over the internet at the time of booking.

It is good to see such a high percentage of our eviivo customers completing a review after their visit. This allows us to monitor our performance and ensure we continue to provide a high level of service.

Who needs fax machines these days to fax card details?! It's a pain in the neck to secure credit card details and it takes time to process the payments. With eviivo, payment is secure so I don't have to worry about writing down card details.

I also love frontdesk Web Access and will be using it a lot.

Because we are doing so well with eviivo, we managed to get a loan from the bank to refurbish our our rooms. Adapting to the changing market, we are changing our family room into a double bedroom with a large king size bed and are also thinking of naming our rooms 'boutique rooms'.

With frontdesk I can sell these individual 'boutique rooms' individually and I have the ability to charge a premium on some rooms.

We wanted to sell more rooms faster and to have a system which suited the changing needs of our customers in the 21st century.

Almost immediately, we had bookings through frontdesk and definitely more overseas bookings.

We do like managing the electronic diary, especially since it became it web-based, so I can access it anywhere.

We were worried that we could be giving out more in commission, but find that most bookings are minimum commission. We also worried about double bookings with our other booking agent, but this has happened only twice and we were able to cancel/change the bookings.

We know there are other online booking systems available, but we find frontdesk suits us and our customers, because it's very user-friendly. We had been meaning to get an online system for a while, and we're glad we went for frontdesk.

With frontdesk, we get increased bookings, probably due to greater exposure. Secondarily, it makes you take a sharper look at your business because you are open to closer consumer scrutiny. We like the diary and payment reconciliation tool plus the ability to update information (e.g. marketing strategy and room rates).

At eviivo, there has always been someone there with an answer.

Reservations? Yes, such as "is it going to work?" and "Am I going to get anything out of this?", but the Increased business levels and ease of use allayed my fears.

We like the fact that we are widely advertised on the net through your distribution channels. And also the easy access to bookings using the frontdesk system.

Customer service is excellent.

We had a reservation about how much commission we would be paying but eviivo filled rooms that we weren't able to fill. An empty room doesn't create any revenue!

Frontdesk creates bookings for us that we would not have got. Getting customers through the door for the first time is the hardest part of B&B. It also created revenue to our restaurant and bar.

Frontdesk boosted our bookings by 50%.

Our only reservation was a fear of not using our paper-based booking diary, we chose to continue to run it alongside frontdesk at first but there was no need, the system was very easy-to- use.

Being able to allow customers to book at any time of the day or night is most useful. We can now put all our efforts into promoting our website (also provided by eviivo) and be sure that we will reap the rewards.

Within 3 months of offering online booking via eviivo over 60% of our hotel rooms were booked online. Thanks to using the eviivo online booking system our business has seen sales more than double during the past 12 months.

eviivo were excellent right from the start: helpful sales people during our enquiry, excellent training, and fabulous after sales support and service.

We would wholeheartedly recommend frontdesk to other businesses, particularly as a low capital cost yet very effective system.

Our online sales alone have exceeded last year's sales on a month by month basis since taking the service. We fully expect online bookings to become over 80% of all our business.

eviivo frontdesk® is the best marketing tool for anyone in the guest accommodation sector!

I have only signed up to your on-line booking system in June 2011 and have already well recovered the set-up cost of the training and production of my property's website (which I must say was very good value for money). My first online booking covered that and as the rest is based on commission with no monthly charges, I am in a win-win situation.

Because of your affiliation with world-recognised distribution partners such as TripAdvisor, Expedia and lastminute.com to name just a few, it means my business has a strong internet presence and it works.

The staff members are always friendly and helpful whenever you call and the Support Team are available almost round the clock to help with any queries that I may have.

I run a bed & breakfast in a relatively quiet village and since coming on board with eviivo, my bookings have quadrupled and more. I have received bookings from all parts of the world which would have been very unlikely if I hadn't signed up with eviivo!

I think the front end of frontdesk, i.e. the area that the customer sees, is exceptional good. It is rich with information but still easy-to-use. It is a real encouragement for guests to book.

The frontdesk 'Book Now' page on my website is clear, uncomplicated and well presented.

The eviivo frontdesk online diary facility is comprehensive, yet easy to use (and is getting easier as I become more accustomed to it!).

Customer service is excellent; during the set-up and training procedure all my questions (and there were many!) were dealt with in a most friendly and efficient manner, and the trainer was always happy to re-explain things if I hadn't fully grasped them.

We really like the direct booking system and the facility to receive deposits instantly at the time of the bookings.
