Our technology underlies the National Tourism Open Platform – the infrastructure that powers national and regional tourism websites, allowing local business to compete with the leading hotel chains and online travel agencies. Available in 23 languages, the platform’s search and booking technology is helping visitors from around the globe get the best out of their holiday in the UK.
VisitBritain is Britain's national tourism agency, responsible for marketing Britain at home and abroad. With its multi award-winning website www.visitbritain.com, it provides inspirational, impartial tourism information and gathers essential market intelligence and insights for the UK tourism industry. VisitBritain has been in close partnership with eviivo since 2005, working together to build and improve on the technology underlying the nation’s tourism infrastructure.
Enjoy England is the official tourist board for England, with a mission to grow the value of tourism throughout the English regions, throughout the year. On their website you can search over 27,000 quality assessed accommodation establishments, and plan trips with thousands of tours, attractions and events, all powered by the national tourism open platform.
Visit London is the official visitor organisation for the capital, with an aim to promote London as the world's most exciting city by marketing to domestic and overseas leisure and business visitors, as well as Londoners. Visit London licenses eviivo’s ‘polling’ technology that enables it to present real-time availability and pricing from a variety of 3rd party reservations systems including Superbreak, Premier Inns and Hilton Hotels. Together with VisitLondon, we are proud to offer eviivo frontdesk® free to members that have been awarded the VisitLondon Approved Marque.
Visit Wales is the Welsh Assembly Government’s tourism team within the Department for Heritage, responsible for the promotion and development of tourism in Wales. The latest addition to the national tourism open platform, VisitWales’ website now offers the ability to search thousands of accommodation businesses, tours, attractions, events and activities in Wales.
Tourism Network North East is recognised as the official tourism support process for North East England by Government, VisitBritain, VisitEngland, tourism businesses and all the region's Local Authorities. We partnered with Agilisys and New Mind Internet Services Limited to respond to the tender for the Desti.ne North East England Tourism e-Business Platform. The three companies were appointed to this tender in March 2006 and have all been re-appointed to this contract for a second term through an open tender process. We work closely with Tourism North East to ensure small and medium sized tourism businesses in the North East benefit from e-commerce. In the current financial year, over £3m of additional online business will be transacted in this region through our platform.
South West Tourism is the official regional tourist board, working to encourage the development of tourism in Bath, Bristol, Bournemouth/Poole, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire (including Cotswolds & Forest of Dean destinations) and Wiltshire. In July 2006, we partnered with Agilisys and New Mind to respond to an innovative tender issued by South West Tourism, resulting in eviivo frontdesk® being selected as the preferred Property Management System across the South West. In partnership with the Destination Management Organisations for each county, we have introduced frontdesk to over 1,050 businesses in this region, with more joining every day.
The national tourism open platform – built by eviivo in partnership with VisitBritain – allows regional and niche destination organisations to enhance their existing websites with advanced search and booking technology. Supported by The National Lottery and the South West Regional Development Agency, WPNSA promotes the sport of sailing, provides a facility for the community and contributes to economic regeneration. It will also host the sailing events for the London 2012 Olympic Games!
Tourism for All, a national charity dedicated to making tourism welcoming to all, is the UK’s voice for accessible tourism. The website contains the knowledge gained over the past 30 years in providing information to the public, especially to older people and those with disabilities, on where their specific access needs can be met so that they can fully participate in travel and leisure.
Hadrian’s Wall Heritage Ltd was set up to develop the economy of the Hadrian’s Wall Corridor through managing the World Heritage Site of Hadrian’s Wall.
